Student and Leadership Training
Each Wednesday night students take part in ministry and training.
Wednesdays, 6:30pm – 8:00pm
SALT is where students are prepared for and given opportunity to participate in ministry. Each Wednesday night we meet for Bible Study and then students move to ministry teams – putting faith in action. Students are encouraged to seek the Lord and respond to his direction. The result is student initiated ministry.
Currently students participate in the following ministries
- AWANA – some students lead and assist in the children’s ministry
- The praise band practices and prepares for RUSH
- Mission Advocates – students partner with, pray for and promote to others ministries and missionary ministries around Georgia, the U.S. and the world
- Drama – the team practices and then presents material at RUSH and other venues as the opportunity comes
- Craft/Outreach – the team makes items and contacts people in need of ministry
- Puppet – students practice and present puppet sketches in the children’s ministry, missions and elsewhere
- Ministry Training – students study scripture as we seek after God, His purposes and plans, to see where He may lead us next

The ministry opportunities may change or expand as God leads and students respond.
